Down on the Farm

Ike's home away from home...the barn!

If he's not out riding on the tractor...than he's tearin' it up on his little ATV!

Most of the time, however, he is picking up rocks, sticks, horse manuer, yes I said horse manuer(luckily for us it hasn't been the steamy stuff)...or whatever else he can find to play with.

He fits right in with the horses.

Much to his mother's dismay, he'll even drink the same water. (Don't be shocked when one of these days I post a picture of him, and he's grown a third eye.) Yikes!
He's very proud of his outdoor palace! And he's even made it his personal duty to show little brother the ropes!

West doesn't quite know what to think of all this yet!

BUT...

We think he's warming up to it!

One thing we know for sure is...it doesn't really set us up for a positive response when undoubtedly someday we'll ask(refering, of course, to his manners)..."where were you raised...in a barn?"

Poor Little Bugger...

Isn't this just the saddest face?

Undecided

Finally! Let me tell you, this moment has been literally weeks in the making. I admire and take this time to commend all you loyal bloggers out there, who manage to keep up quite regularly on your blogging.

Truth be told, I wanted to make my first post something insightful, philosophical....poetic even. However, due to something of a time restraint...and in light of upcoming events(halloween)...I've decided to make my first post, well a poll of sorts. You see, as my title clearly indicates...I'm undecided. Gone are the days where the hardest decision to make at halloween is what kind of candy to pass out. Having kids puts a whole new spin on this festive occasion where we dress up as something we are not, and go beg(in the acceptable form of 'trick or treat') the neighborhood strangers for candy . Of course, in Utah, your 'neighborhood strangers' are more like your ward family members....and actually in this day and age do parents(outside of utah) dare take their children to neighborhood doors anymore? I know, I know, I digress.

Ok, so let's cut to the chase. I can't decide what to do for costumes this year-and here is where you come in. I need your help deciding whether I should have Ike be a lion and West be a tiger...or have Ike be a rooster and West be a chicken.

Wow, did it really take me all that to ask a simple question?
